The idea behind the X
Attacking play can come with a lighter racket.
The shape and balance place emphasis towards the racket head. Its lower weight, around 353 g, helps preserve quick preparation, precision and ease of recovery between shots.
More presence on the ball when you accelerate. Less weight to manage when you need to defend, react or prepare the next shot.
Kevlar on the surface
Power can come with a more comfortable impact.
In the X-Power, Kevlar forms part of the multilayer construction to help manage impact energy and vibration, complementing the structural stiffness of carbon fibre.
Helps dissipate vibration.
A property we particularly value in a racket designed for faster, more demanding shots.
High toughness.
Kevlar adds impact resistance and a less brittle response to the construction.
Kevlar + carbon fibre.
Stiffness for response; energy dissipation to make that response more comfortable.
