VORA TECHNOLOGY · XOK RANGE

Kevlar to absorb more. Carbon fibre to respond.

At VORA, Kevlar has a practical role: helping dissipate energy and reduce the transmission of vibration at impact, while carbon fibre provides structural stiffness and stability.

What makes us different

Better play takes more than stiffness.

Carbon fibre provides structure and response, but a racket also needs to manage the energy that travels back to the arm. This is where Kevlar became important in our construction: we aim to use its energy-dissipating and damping properties to soften impact while preserving overall stability.

KEVLAR

It is the material that best expresses VORA’s philosophy: performance with comfort. It complements carbon fibre with a quality we particularly value: better management of vibration and impact energy.

Inside the racket

Kevlar first. The other layers complete the system.

The construction is multilayered, with a distinct role for each material. Kevlar is VORA’s technological signature; carbon fibre, fibreglass and Black EVA fine-tune structure, response and feel.

Kevlar and carbon fibre

Damping + durability

Kevlar

An aramid fibre with high toughness and energy-dissipating properties. In VORA’s construction, it is used to help dampen vibration and make impact more comfortable.

Carbon fibre

Stiffness + structure

Carbon fibre

Reinforces the structure and stabilises the face, contributing to a more direct, consistent response.

Fibreglass

Elasticity

Fibreglass

Helps balance overall stiffness and contributes to a more progressive response at impact.

Black EVA

Core

Black EVA

Different densities allow ball output, control and feel to be tuned to the intended playing characteristics.

Less vibration. More play.

The Kevlar property we value most.

Aramid fibres are used in composites for their ability to dissipate energy and improve damping. This is the quality we aim to bring to the racket: reducing the vibration that reaches the player while keeping the face from becoming excessively soft.

01

Stability

A more consistent response when contact is not perfect.

02

Comfort

An impact feel designed to reduce unnecessary harshness.

03

Control

A more predictable ball response to build the point with confidence.

04

Response

Energy when you need to accelerate, balanced with more than raw power.

Why Kevlar?

Stiffness is not everything.

A structure focused solely on stiffness can transmit more vibration. Aramid allows us to seek a different balance: retaining the response of carbon fibre while adding greater damping capacity and impact tolerance.

01 · Damping

Dissipates energy.

Helps reduce the intensity of vibration transmitted after contact with the ball.

02 · Toughness

Resists impact.

Aramid fibre is known for high impact resistance and a less brittle failure mode than very stiff materials.

03 · Complementary materials

Kevlar + carbon fibre.

Carbon fibre provides stiffness and structural precision; Kevlar adds damping and energy absorption. This is the combination we aim to explore.

Specifications are only part of the choice.

Weight, balance, shape, core and finish affect how a racket feels to each player. That is why VORA encourages you to try and compare on court as well as looking at the specifications.
